A Road to Unity

Movement for a Pluralistic Society

The Syrian Movement for a Pluralistic Society, founded in Paris in 2012 by Randa Kassis and a group of Syrian dissidents, envisions a free, democratic, and secular Syria built on the strength of its diversity. Committed to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it advocates equality between genders, rejects sectarianism, and promotes a culture of citizenship. Embracing federalism as the most viable framework for lasting stability, the movement seeks to protect the rights of all communities, ensure fair political representation, and foster peaceful coexistence through decentralised governance.
